Dole Garden Soup "Sweet Corn"

(Japanese follows. /

One of my favorite soup is corn soup, but somehow it's very hard to find near my apartment.
I thought any supermarket would have corn soup in a canned food section, but they don't.
While they have several kinds of chicken soup like creamy chicken soup, chicken noodle soup, etc, they don't have any single corn soup!
When I was in Japan, I used to buy a refrigerated corn soup in a package or buy instant (powdered) corn soup a lot, and I miss the soup.

I finally found one in a supermarket in Stamford, CT in the end of October.
It's a Dole Garden Soup "Sweet Corn" and labeled as "new."
A source says it's launched on September 22, 2014.
As soon as I found it, I grabbed this one, and I got so excited and already started thinking about the taste; smooth textured cream and sweet corn soup.

However, when I was about to eat this last night, I saw the back side and a lot of vegetables were there.

And on the ingredients list, there're a lot of vegetables besides corn.
Puree of onion and garlic, concentrate of carrot, onion and celery, apple cider vinegar, lime juice concentrale and etc.
I was in shock when I saw this as I could tell the flavor and taste wouldn't be the same that I'd been dreaming and craving for.

But I tried it anyway.
Following the direction, I used a microwave to heat the soup.

The soup wasn't watery but more like puree or paste.
And I could smell garlic even when it's cold.

When it's heated, it became a little bit smoother and had stronger garlic scent.
I didn't taste like corn soup but carrot and onion soup with some corn or even pumpkin, latter of which I don't know why but it did.
It had very rough texture like I was drinking corn flour in vegetable soup.

Needless to say, I'm not buying this again.
