Lay's Cappuccino is another flavor that we bought with Mango Salsa, on of the candidates of Lay's annual flavor contest "Do Us A Flavor."

Lay's Cappuccino

This flavor uses regular thin sliced potato chips.

As soon as I opened the bag, I smelled very sweet coffee and cinnamon flavors.

Thin potato chips were covered in brown powder.
First, it had bitterness of coffee but then soon it became sweet with cinnamon taste, but in the end, it's coffee again.
To me, it tasted similar to coffee flavored sweet roll or opera cake made with potato pancakes instead of sponge cake.

I don't drink coffee but I somehow liked this one better than Mango Salsa yet neither was fully enjoyable.

袋を開けるとすぐに甘いコーヒーとシナモンの香りが広がった。
薄いポテトチップスは茶色の粉で覆われていた。
最初はコーヒーの苦みがあり、その後すぐにシナモンの甘い味がしたけれど、後味は
コーヒーに戻った。
「コーヒー味の菓子パン」のような味か、オペラケーキがスポンジケーキではなく
ジャガイモのパンケーキで作られたような味だった。

私はコーヒーを飲まないけれど、マンゴーサルサよりもこのカプチーノの方が好き。
ただし、両方とも別に美味しくはない。
