M&M's MEGA Milk Chocolate

My husband found new M&M's chocolate and got a bag for me.
It's called "M&M's MEGA Milk Chocolate."
I couldn't find launching date but on M&M's Facebook page shared a photo of MEGA on May 4, 2014, so I assume it's brought to market around that time.
Other M&M's I reviewed.

The package says, "3x the Chocolate!" which is per piece.
In other words, 3 regular M&M's chocolate equals to only one MEGA.
Each of them had the same "m" on the top of the colorful chocolate.
The size of the letter seemed to be the same size of that on regular M&M's so that it looked smaller on a MEGA.
(I feel like the "m" on a regular piece is covering the chocolate almost entirely.)
We used US coins (a penny, a dime and a quarter from left to right.)
MEGA was a little bit smaller than a quarter coin.
I didn't think it's 3 times thicker but it's definitely taller than a regular M&M's.
The sugar coating seemed the same thin layer, so I enjoyed more chocolate in a piece.
Usually I taste crispy sugar coat while chewing, but this MEGA M&M's let me taste more chocolate than sugar coating.
As a chocolate lover, I prefer MEGA than regular M&M's.

新商品は「エム&エムズ メガ ミルクチョコレート」というもの。
正確な発売日の情報見つからなかったけれど、エム&エムズのFacebookページでは2014年
5月4日に写真が公開されていたので、その辺りに発売されたのだと思う。
その他エム&エムズ商品。

パッケージには「（1粒当たり）3倍のチョコレート！」と書いてあった。
つまり、通常サイズのエム&エムズ3粒分が1粒で楽しめることになる。
袋の中にはカラフルなチョコレートの上に、見慣れた「m」の文字が印刷されていた。
「m」の文字の大きさは通常サイズのエム&エムズと同じ大きさのようで、メガの上に印刷された
文字は小さく見えた。
（通常サイズは「m」が粒全体にかかっているようなイメージ）
アメリカの硬貨（1セント、10セント、25セント）と大きさを比較してみたところ、25セント硬貨よりも
1周り程小さかった。
厚みは3倍ではないと思うけれど、確実に通常のエム&エムズよりも厚みがあった。
砂糖の層は通常のエム&エムズと同じく薄かったので、チョコレートの味を楽しむことができた。
普段は噛んでいる間ずっと砂糖のカリカリ、シャリシャリした食感が口の中に残るけれど、
このMEGAは通常サイズと同じ薄さのコーティング＋3倍のチョコレートで出来ているので、
砂糖がそれほど気にならずにチョコレートを味わえた。
チョコレートとシュガーコーティングがちょうど良いバランスで、通常のエム&エムズよりも
美味しかった。
