Back in February, I tried Bourbon Mochi Chocolate Sakura-Mochi for the first time.
And today, I tried another limited flavor called "Matcha Chocolate" launched on April 8, 2014.

According to the front, it uses Uji Matcha, a quality green tea grown in Uji-city, Kyoto.

In a green tea leave, it says "limited time only."

On the back, it says that the chocolate and sauce use Uji Matcha, and also the soft mochi (sticky rice) wrapping the chocolate uses Uji Matcha, too.

Like Sakura-Mochi, there're two plastic packages in the box.

In a tray, there're 4 green tea colored soft mochi.

Though each mochi is sprinkled powder, partially mochi was stuck to the tray and it's hard to pick up such a soft mochi without misshaping it.

This is what it looked like inside.
The very outside is mochi, brighter green color is chocolate, and the darker green is sauce.

The visual image shows clearer picture.

Matcha chocolate was sweet, and the sauce in the center had some bitterness.
Mochi was so soft and had Matcha flavor.

I wish this Matcha flavor would be available through the year.

2月に初めてブルボン もちしょこら 桜もちを食べた。
今日は新限定フレーバーの「抹茶チョコレート」を食べてみた。

パッケージによると、宇治抹茶を使用しているらしい。
また、茶葉の中に「期間限定」と書かれていた。

裏面には、チョコレート、ソース、お餅の全てに宇治抹茶が使われていると記載されていた。

桜もちと同様に、箱の中には2袋入っていた。
トレーの中には抹茶色の柔らかいお餅が4個並んでいた。
お餅には粉がまぶしてあるものの、部分的にトレーにくっついて、柔らかいお餅の形を崩さずに
取り出すのが難しかった。

イメージ画像通り、お餅の中にはチョコレートとソースが入っていた。
抹茶チョコレートは甘めで、中心のソースが苦味のある抹茶味だった。
お餅は柔らかく、抹茶の風味があった。

この抹茶味が通年商品だったら嬉しい。
