Lotte launched new flavor "White Caramel Chocolate" to Kiri No Ukifune for its 35th anniversary on March 4, 2014.

Kiri No Ukifune (Vessel In The Fog) first came out in 1980, and the characteristic feature is the texture.
It contains air bubbles inside called "air-in chocolate" that creates crispiness but also provides smooth melting texture.

On the back, there's a brief definition of this chocolate.
"It's so light and melts away once you eat.
With aeration, this chocolate is velvety.
Please enjoy the tasty and long-tested flavor."

To be honest, it's my first time to see and try this chocolate so I can't not tell if it's been really loved for a long time.

Chocolate was very pale yellow and each block had "Lotte" in script.

Inside of the chocolate, there're a lot of air bubbles.
It's crispy first but then it melted away.

It's got strong white chocolate flavor and I didn't taste much caramel flavor in this.
However, I enjoyed the mixed texture of crispness and smoothness.

ロッテから2014年3月4日に、霧の浮舟発売35周年を記念した新フレーバー「ホワイトキャラメル
チョコ」が発売された。
霧の浮舟（Vessel In The Fog）は1980年に発売されたチョコレートで、サクッとしながらも滑らかに
溶けるエアインチョコレート。

箱の裏面には「ひとくち食べればふわっと消える、不思議な口どけ。
ふんわりとエアレーションしたチョコレートのまろやかな味わいで、皆様に愛され続けている
変わらない美味しさをお楽しみください。」とあった。
正直、このホワイトキャラメルチョコを食べるまでは霧の浮舟の存在を知らなかったので、本当に
長い間愛されてる商品かどうかは分からない。

チョコレートは白に近い薄い黄色で、筆記体の Lotte の文字が各ピースに刻まれていた。

チョコレートの中には気泡が沢山あり、カリッと割れたあとはふわっと溶けた。
味はホワイトチョコレートの味が強く、キャラメルの風味はあまりなかった。
ただ、カリッとしつつ滑らかな食感はとても面白かった。
