Meiji launched a new chocolate snack called "coloco" on March 18, 2014.
It's a chocolate wrapped with sweet and moist cookie.

I tried their Matcha (green tea) flavor.

The box was skinny.

On the back, it says that it's a ball of baked gateau chocolat covering matcha chocolate.

In the box, there're individual green packages.

Each package had "coloco" all over the pouch.

The chocolate looked like a chocolate truffle, but no powder was used on the surface and it's dried.
The cookie outside was delicate and it broke very easily.

Inside of the cookie, there's muddy Matcha flavored chocolate.

The cookie outside was a little bit bitter, and the chocolate inside had bitter and aromatic Matcha flavor.
But as it's chocolate, it became sweeter once cookie and Matcha flavored chocolate started mixing together.

Each chocolate was wrapped separately and the surface is dry, so it's easy to eat little by little without getting the fingers dirty.

明治から2014年3月18日に発売された「coloco（ころこ）」の抹茶。
しっとりしたクッキーに包まれているチョコレート。

箱は薄いデザイン。
裏面には、まるいガトーショコラの中に抹茶味のチョコレートが入っていると書かれていた。
中には「coloco」と書かれた緑色の個包装のチョコレートが入っていた。

チョコレート・トリュフのような見た目だったけれど、パウダーはかかっておらず、サラッとした
乾いた表面だった。
食感は軽く、ホロホロと崩れるクッキーだった。
中には濁った緑色の抹茶味のチョコレートが入っていた。
クッキー生地は少し苦みがあり、中のチョコレートは抹茶の香りと渋みがあったけれど、元は
チョコレートなので、クッキーとチョコレートが混ざるうちに徐々に甘くなっていった。

個包装なので少しずつ食べられるのと、トリュフと違って表面がサラッとしているので手が汚れない
のは嬉しい。
