Koala's March is produced by Lotte Co., Ltd, a Japanese confectionery company.

The first Koala's March was launched in March, 1984.

A year before the launch, Lotte developed an unique technique to bake biscuit with hollow, and they caught an information that Koalas were coming to Japan in a year and they're sure that Koala would become a huge boom and decided to create Koala shaped and printed snack.

The printing on the surface is made from caramel.

The image of the hexagon package is mallee (eucalyptus tree) that Koalas love.

Lotte launched "mix fruits flavor" for a limited time only on February 18, 2014.

These Koalas are surrounded by fruits; pineapples, bananas, peaches, oranges, and apples.

And this side shows the image of a piece that has chocolate filling.

On another side, there're list of patterns of the 1984's original Koalas faces which could be found in the boxes.

However, it's not affirmable that you'd get to see them as it's packed randomly.

There're several patterns of Koala faces.

To see how many kinds of Koalas I got, I put all  the 23 pieces on a paper.

There're 2 same patterns but others were all different!

Unfortunately, I didn't see any Koala had the original pattern on the package.

This is the inside of the biscuit.

The mix fruits flavored chocolate was cream color and had fruity flavor.

It's mainly pineapple and peach I thought.

To me, the flavor kind of reminded me of summer, so it's a little bit awkward that they launched this flavor in winter/spring.

コアラのマーチは株式会社ロッテが製造するお菓子。

コアラのマーチが最初に発売されたのは1984年。

発売1年前にロッテがビスケットに空洞を作って焼く技術を開発し、翌年にコアラが来日すると

聞き、コアラブームを確信してコアラ型・コアラの絵をプリントしたお菓子を製造したことに始まる。

六角形のパッケージは、コアラの大好物のユーカリの木をイメージして作られたらしい。

2014年2月18日、ロッテから期間限定で「ミックスフルーツ味」が発売された。

パッケージにはパイナップル、バナナ、桃、オレンジ、りんごに囲まれているコアラの絵がある。

別の面には、中のチョコレートが見える商品イメージ画像。

さらに別の面には1984年発売当時の柄が記載され、中に同じ柄のコアラが入っているかも

しれないと書いてある。

ただし、無作為に袋詰めされるので、全部見つかるわけではない。

紙箱内部にあるアルミの袋には、様々な顔のコアラがプリントされていた。

コアラの顔を見るために23個全てを紙の上に並べてみたところ、2個だけが重複柄で、

その他は全て違うものだった。

残念ながら、紙箱に載っている元祖コアラの柄は見つからなかった。

ビスケットの中にはクリーム色をしたミックスフルーツ味のチョコレートが入っていた。

主にパイナップル、桃の味と香りがした。

味はなんとなく夏っぽかったので、この時期に発売したのは少し疑問。
