The other day, I wrote about Pringles' holiday season limited flavor, Cinnamon & Sugar, and there's another limited flavor which was launched at the same time.
The flavor is Pecan Pie.
I was looking for the Pecan Pie to try how it'd taste, but I kind of knew it'd not be satisfying flavor for me as I didn't like Cinnamon & Sugar flavor.
Luckily, at a grocery store in CT, we found the Pecan Pie!

The image in the middle is a whole pecan pie and at the top, whipped cream is on the pecan nuts.

The inner lid was the same as Cinnamon & Sugar.

"Bursting with flavor"

Chips in the bottle.
It didn't have much sweet scent when I opened the paper lid.

This is a piece of chips and when I held one, I could smell sugary sweet flavor.
And I saw a lot of brown powder on the chip.

Surprisingly, it tasted better than I thought and better than Cinnamon & Sugar.
Somehow the sweetness went well with the potato.
The sweetness was similar to maple syrup and this chips tasted like a pancake.
But I know it's not an actual pancake and technically it doesn't have the same taste, I didn't eat much at once.

まず、ピーカンパイについて。
ピーカンパイは、ピーカン（クルミ科の落葉高木）とコーンシロップが主な材料のパイ。
アメリカではよく祝日に出され、ピーカンの産地であるアメリカ南部の名物パイ。
作り方は、パイ生地を敷いたパイ皿に、コーンシロップ、砂糖、溶き卵、
溶かしたバター（またはマーガリン）、バニラエッセンス、ピーカンナッツを混ぜた物を
流し込んでオーブンで焼く。
焼きあがったパイの表面はピーカンナッツで覆われ、
その下にはカスタード状になっている。
塩やバニラで味付けをするのが一般的だが、
チョコレートやバーボンウィスキーを足すレシピも人気。
また、ホイップクリームやバニラアイスを添えて出されることが多い。

以前紹介したプリングルス シナモン＆シュガーと同時期に
期間限定商品として発売されたピーカンパイフレーバー。

プリングルスのパッケージの中心には、
ホールのピーカンパイが描かれていて、
パッケージ上部にはピーカンナッツの上にホイップクリームが乗っている。

蓋を開けた時は、シナモン＆シュガーと違って
それほど香りがなかったが、一枚手に取ると甘い香りがした。

食べてみると、シナモン＆シュガーより美味しい！
メープルシロップのような甘さとじゃがいもの甘さがマッチ。
なんとなくパンケーキのような味がするチップス。
ただ、調子に乗って食べすぎると気持ち悪くなりそうだったので、
とりあえず味見のために2枚だけ食べてキッチンの棚に戻した。
