Caramel Nuts Pie / キャラメルナッツパイ

I tried "Caramel Nuts Pie" from Kobeya Baking co., ltd. which is a bread and confectionery manufacturer based in Osaka, founded in 1918.

Many brands produce sweet snack bread and also spicy ones like curry, sausage, pizza, etc. and you can buy them cheaper than bakeries.

Caramel Nuts Pie (2pcs) was only 99 JPY (tax included).
According to the package, caramel flavored cream with almond chunks in the pie.

One of the sticks looks like this.

You can see brown filling from the pie windows.

The height was abotu 3cm (a little bit more than 1inch) but the filling wasn't set in the center.
I wonder why it's a slightly dislocated to the edge, maybe due to pie had risen when it's baked?

I can clearly see the caramel cream is on the left upper side.
But also I can see the layer of pie and see it's baked really well.

It tasted ok but as I have a sweet tooth so I wanted more filling inside.
It might have tasted better when it's warm because the caramel cream would possibly be soft and the warmness would boost up caramel's sweet flavor.

Calories of each piece was 220kcal.
Needless to say, if you eat up both pies, it means you've consumed 440kcal sugary pastry.
