Ginza Scheveningen is an Italian restaurant in Ginza, and the name Scheveningen is a seaside resort in The Hague, Netherlands.
The restaurant name is スケベニンゲン (Sukebeningen) while the actual pronunciation is "ˈsxeːvənɪŋə(n)," and the way they write in Japanese means "naughty/horny/nasty human."
Ever since I heard the name, I was curious about the restaurant and the other day, I visited the spot for the first time.
I went there on a weekday around 11:50 AM, and it's before lunch break so that I could sit immediately.
Menu
During lunch time (11:30 AM ~ 3 PM), all the pasta comes with salad and drink of your choice.
I got grapefruit juice among coffee (ice, hot), iced tea, orange juice, red wine and white wine.
In a minute or 2, they served the salad and drink.
Salad
Basil dressing with cabbage, red cabbage, carrots and cucumber.
Grapefruit Juice
It's a 100% fruit juice and had nice sourness.
Somehow it's accompanied with a syrup and I wonder if it's because the juice is sour.
The pasta was brought in 10 minutes.
Frittata
Frittata is their original menu and it's an omelette style meat sauce pasta.
It's shaped in an omelette and there're nice charred marks on the surface.
Spaghetti was cooked to al dente, smooth, and the meat sauce had some sourness of tomato, but with egg and meat, overall it's mild.
With lemon, it's more refreshing.
The browned parts were lightly crispy and fragrant while the inside of the omelette was soft and silky.
The egg was evenly coating the spaghetti and fully cooked, and it's a very interesting and tasty pasta.
They have so many varieties of pasta, close to 60 kinds, and the lunch is good deal.
I'd like to go back and try other menus, too.

銀座スケベニンゲンはイタリアンレストランで、店名のスケベニンゲンはオランダにある
ハーグのリゾート地。
Scheveningenはスケフェニンゲンという発音が近いらしいのだけれど、以前この店名を
聞いて気になっていたのでお店に行ってきた。
平日の11時50分頃に行くと、お昼休憩の少し前だったのですぐに座ることができた。
メニュー
ランチタイム（11時半〜15時）は全てのパスタにサラダと飲み物が付いてくる。
私はグレープフルーツジュースを選んだけれど、その他の選択肢はコーヒー（アイス、
ホット）、アイスティー、オレンジジュース、赤ワイン、白ワインだった。
1〜2分でサラダと飲み物が出された。
サラダ
バジルドレッシングがかかっていて、キャベツ、赤キャベツ、ニンジン、きゅうりが
入っていた。
グレープフルーツジュース
果汁100％ジュースで適度な酸味があり、美味しかった。
酸っぱいからなのか、ガムシロップが付いてきた。
注文してから10分ほどでパスタが出てきた。
フリッタータ
オリジナルメニュー、ミートソースパスタをオムレツ風にしたもの。
オムレツのような形に整えられていて、表面には美味しそうな焼き色が付いていた。
スパゲッティはアルデンテに茹でてあり、つるっとしていて、ミートソースはトマトの
酸味があったものの、卵とお肉で穏やかな味だった。
レモンを絞るとあっさりした。
茶色くなった部分は少しカリッとして香ばしく、オムレツの内側は柔らかく滑らか
だった。
卵はスパゲティを均一に覆っていて完全に火が通っていて、とても面白くて美味しい
パスタだった。
パスタは60種類近くて多く、ランチはお得に食べられるので、今度は違うパスタを食べに
行きたい。
