Afternoon Tea At SkyTree View Restaurant & Bar Ren

We went to afternoon tea at SkyTree View Restaurant & Bar Ren in Tobu Hotel Levent Tokyo for the first time, and when we reserved a table, they said there's a seat available facing Tokyo SkyTree and they'd prepare a spot for us.

SkyTree View Restaurant & Bar Ren is located on the 24th floor, the highest floor of the hotel.

They took us to a large window counter table.

And Tokyo SkyTree was literally in front of us.

Menu

The drinks we could choose were listed at the bottom, and we could change the items once we're done with what we're drinking.
I got Jasmine Tea first and as they serve by cup, it's easy to change the drinks.

The saucer was flower shape.

White sugar and non-bleached sugar only and they didn't have any zero-calorie or low calorie sweetener.

It's a Japanese style afternoon tea and the food was brought in a multi-tiered box.

It had whole grain mustard spread.

Tomato and Cucumber Sandwich

Egg salad was put on the bread.

It already had some dressing on and there're Sakura flower petal shaped vegetables.

Temari Sushi
Red sea bream and tuna sushi balls and both had wasabi underneath.

Turban Shell

I have no idea what it was, but it should be land meat except pork because the box for my husband had the same thing after he asked for no seafood and pork.
It's sweet and salty.

Shrimp, Egg and White Fish

The white fish might have been spotted shad.
The base was yellow and it tasted similar to sweet potato.

It's cooked sweet and the shell was very soft.

It's a sweet-sour fruit with seed in the center.

In the mochi, there're green sweet filling with yuzu flavor.

The bottom was spongecake.

Creme Brulee
The surface wasn't crispy and the custard was runny.

My second drink was Sakura Color Tea, an original blend.
It had a hint of Sakura scent and tasted close to darjeeling.

Under white chocolate, there's hazelnut mouse.

We thought that's it and asked for a check, then they brought more sweets.

Black Sesame Pudding
Topped with a raspberry.

Green Tea Yokan

Yokan is a Japanese sweet jelly made with sweetened red bean, sugar and agar.

It had bitter matcha flavor and sweet red bean taste.

It's very bright to face Tokyo SkyTree and if you go there on a sunny day, you may want to bring sunscreen and sunglasses.
The Japanese food was quite good, assuming it's a Japanese restaurant, while western food and confectioneries were so-so.
The staffs in the spacious lounge weren't paying attention to the customers and it made it difficult to get attention to order drinks.

東武ホテル レバント東京のスカイツリービュー レストラン＆バー 簾のアフタヌーン
ティーに初めて行った。
予約をした時に東京スカイツリーが見える席に空きがあったので、その席を用意して
もらった。

スカイツリービュー レストラン＆バー 簾はホテルの最上階である24階にある。

大きな窓のカウンター席に案内された。

東京スカイツリーが本当に目の前にあった。

メニュー

選べる飲み物は下に載っていて、今飲んでいるものを飲み終わったら別の種類に変える
ことができた。
最初にジャスミンティーを頼むとカップで出されたので、色々な飲み物が飲めた。

ソーサーは花の形。

白砂糖、無漂白の砂糖のみで、ゼロカロリーの甘味料はないとのことだった。

和のアフタヌーンティーなので、食べ物はお重に入っていた。

サラダ用ドレッシング

ハムとレタスのサンドイッチ

粒マスタードが塗ってあった。

トマトとキュウリのサンドイッチ

エッグサラダが塗ってあった。

すでにドレッシングがかかっていて、桜の花びらの形をした野菜が入っていた。

手まり寿司
鯛とマグロで、両方ともワサビが入っていた。

サザエ

これが何か分からなかったけれど、魚介類と豚肉を使わないようにお願いした旦那の
箱にも入っていたので、豚以外の陸上の動物のお肉だと思う。
甘じょっぱい味だった。

エビ、卵、白身魚のおかず

白身魚はコハダ？
下の黄色い部分はサツマイモのような味だった。

甘く煮てあり、殻まで柔らかかった。

甘酸っぱい実で、中心に種があった。

お餅の中には緑色の餡と柚子が入っていた。

ストロベリームースケーキ

下はスポンジケーキ。

クレームブリュレ
表面にパリパリした食感はなく、カスタード部分もだらっとしていた。

2杯目はホテルオリジナルブレンドのさくらいろティー。
ほんのり桜の香りがし、味はダージリンに似ていた。

ホワイトチョコレートの中には、ヘーゼルナッツのムース入り。

これで終わりかと思って会計を頼むと、さらに和菓子が出された。

抹茶ようかん

抹茶の苦味と小豆の甘さがあった。

スカイツリーに面している席はとても眩しかったので、晴れている日に行くなら日焼け
止めやサングラスが必要かもしれない。
和食のお店なのか、和食が全体に美味しかったものの、洋食・洋菓子はあまりという
印象。
また、ラウンジは広いけれどスタッフがあまり気を配っていないため、飲み物を注文
したくてもなかなか頼めなかった。
