When we went to Disney World for New Year's holiday, my husband booked a table for late lunch at Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen.
It's near the famous and classic ride Jungle Cruise and it carries the theme.

We arrived earlier than the reservation time, but we checked in at the reception, and they said they'd text us if a table was open.
For about 15-20 minutes, we wandered around (mainly sitting) nearby and went back to the reception, and luckily our table was ready.

In the restaurant, there're 3 different themed dining areas, which you can't choose (I think).

There're so many decorations.

Falls Family Parlor

S.E.A. Room - a secret meeting place for the Society of Explorers and Adventurers

The napkin on the table was "A" shaped because of Albert Falls.

Menu

Under the menu, there're famous scenes from Jungle Cruise and also hidden Mickey.

Trader Sam

After placing our order, a warm bread and honey were served.

The bread was soft and fluffy, and the color was brown as if it's wholegrain bread.

With rich and sweet honey, it's very good.

Schweitzer Slush
Frozen apple juice and passion fruits topped with bursting green apple boba bubbles, first concocted by the noted explorer and humanitarian, Dr. Albert Slush.

I got it with a souvenir mug.

Orange colored apple jelly balls were popping like ikura (salmon roe), and the frozen drink was sweet but also refreshing.

Coaster was double-faced.

Falls Family Falafel
A secret recipe of chickpeas, garlic, onions, lemon juice, and herbs served with white bean dip and tomato-cucumber salad.

There're red onions in the salad, too.

The breading was crispy and the inside of the falafel was smooth and moist with a kick of garlic.
It's described "white bean dip," but it tasted very close to tahini, white sesame paste.

Tastes Like Chicken Because It is!
Crispy fried chicken with citrus-ginger scented rice, chili glaze, and seasonal vegetables.

A large breast meat was placed over the rice, garnished with thinly sliced carrots and cucumber (or celery).

The breading was very crunchy and crispy while the white meat was juicy and moist.

This sauce was tangy, sour, and salty, and I really loved this dish.
The rice was lightly seasoned so that spicy-sour dipping sauce was never too strong but just adding nice flavors.

Skip's Beefy Baked Pasta

Egyptian-inspired dish of spiced braised beef, pasta, cheese, and béchamel sauce served with seasonal vegetables.

Served with green beans.

Penne was a bit soft, but the spiced beef was moist, tender, and flavorful, and to connect the ingredients, there's mashed potatoes.
As it's topped with creamy béchamel sauce, it seems like a fancy dish.

Dessert Menu

Bertha's Banh Bong Lan Cake With Mango-Lime Sorbet
Vanilla chiffon cake soaked with lemon grass-ginger syrup.

Mango-lime sorbet had a curled chocolate.

Mango puree, lemon grass or basil flavored pop rocks and meringues.

The chiffon cake was supposed to be soaked in lemon grass-ginger syrup, but it's not noticeably sticky or had intense herbal scent.

Female bathroom.

The lights and tiles were beautiful.

お正月休みにディズニーワールドに行った時、ジャングル ナビゲーション スキッパー

キャンティーンで遅めの昼食を取るために旦那が予約をしておいてくれた。

このレストランは昔からあるジャングルクルーズの近くにあり、アトラクションと同じ

テーマのお店。

予約時間よりも早く着いたけれど、受付に進みチェックインを済ませ、席が早く空いた
場合は携帯電話にメールが送信される設定をした。
15〜20分ほど時間を潰してから受付に戻ると、ちょうど席の準備ができたとのことで
店内へ案内された。

店内のダイニングエリアは3種類あるけれど、どの部屋で食事をするかは指定できない
（と思う）。
クルーズ メス ホール（Crew's Mess Hall）

ジャングル ナビゲーション カンパニーの創設者である（Dr. Albert Falls）の事務所が
あった。

沢山のデコレーション。

フォールズ ファミリー パーラー（Falls Family Parlor）

S.E.A.ルーム（S.E.A. Room）
S.E.A.はSociety of Explorers and Adventures（探検家と冒険家協会）で、ここでは秘密
会議が開かれる、という設定。

ナプキンはアルベルト・フォールズにちなみ、「A」の形にセットされていた。

メニュー

メニューの下にはジャングルクルーズで見られる景色が描かれていて、隠れミッキーも
あった。
サイが探検家を棒まで追いかけているシーン。

トレーダー サム

料理を注文すると、温かいパンとハチミツが出された。

ふんわりと柔らかいパンで、全粒粉のような茶色だった。

濃厚で甘いハチミツをつけると、とても美味しかった。

シュバイツァー スプラッシュ
フローズン アップルジュースとパッションフルーツに、青リンゴの粒を乗せたドリンク。
最初に混ぜて作ったのは、有名な探検家で人道主義者のアルバート スラッシュ。

私はスーベニアマグ入りで注文した。

オレンジ色の青リンゴゼリーはイクラのようにプチプチし、フローズンドリンクは甘さが
ありつつもすっきりした味だった。

コースターは裏表で違った柄だった。

フォールズ ファミリー ファラフェル

ひよこ豆、ニンニク、タマネギ、レモンジュース、ハーブの秘密のレシピに、ホワイト

ビーンディップ、トマトとキュウリのサラダ添え。

サラダには赤タマネギも入っていた。

ファラフェルの衣はサクッとし、内側はしっとり滑らかでニンニクが効いていた。
ホワイトビーンディップ（白い豆のディップ）と書かれていたけれど、タヒニ（白ごま
ペースト）にそっくりの味だった。

テイスツ ライク チキン ビコーズ イット イズ！
サクサクのフライドチキンとシトラス・ジンジャー風味のライス、チリシロップ、季節の
野菜添え。

* 「Tastes Like Chicken Because It Is!」は「鶏肉の味がする、だって鶏肉だから！」と
いう意味のメニュー。 大きな鶏胸肉が乗っていて、周りにはニンジンとキュウリかセロリの薄切りが添えて
あった。

カリッ、サクッとした美味しい衣で、鶏肉はジューシーだった。

ソースはピリッとして酸味、塩気があり、この料理はとても美味しかった。
ライスは軽く味付けされていたので、辛く酸っぱいソースは味が濃すぎず良い香りを
足していた。

スキップス ビーフィー ベイクドパスタ

エジプトにヒントを得た料理で、スパイスで味付けした牛肉の煮込み、パスタ、チーズ、

ベシャメルソース、季節の野菜添え。

インゲン豆が添えられていた。

ペンネは少し柔らかかったものの、スパイスで味付けされた牛肉はしっとり柔らかく、
風味も良かった。
具材をまとめるために、マッシュポテトが入っていた。
とろみのあるベシャメルソースがかかっていて、上品な雰囲気の料理に感じた。

デザートメニュー

バーサズ バンボンランケーキ マンゴーライム ソルベ
レモングラスと生姜シロップに浸したバニラシフォンケーキ。

マンゴーライム ソルベにはカールしたチョコレートが刺さっていた。

マンゴーピューレ、レモングラスかバジルの香りがするポップロック、メレンゲ。

レモングラスと生姜シロップに浸したシフォンケーキと書いてあったけれど、特にベタ
つく質感ではなく、香りもそれほど強くなかった。

女性のお手洗い。

照明やタイルが綺麗で印象的だった。
