Sankaku Peach Cream Pie From McDonald's

McDonald's Japan launched Sankaku Peach Cream Pie on September 7, 2016 for a limited time.
* Sankaku (三角) means triangle.
I'd been looking for this but all the branches I went to didn't have this pie anymore like McShake Morinaga Milk Caramel.
I went to one near Shinjuku South exit, and luckily they had this pie.
When it's launched, they were using this cute box for the pie I believe.
It's stored in a regular Sankaku Pie box.

The triangle pie was very flaky and also really greasy.
When I held it, the fine and crispy pastry puff were falling off and left my finger so shiny and slippery.
When I bit, the pie sheet made crispy sound, and the pastry puff was pink-tinted.
They use 100% Hakuho Peach from Wakayama prefecture for the filling, and it had sweet peach scent.
The pale pink filling wasn't runny and the texture was similar to hair treatment as it's thick and a bit firm.
The peach flavor was light and didn't have a weird artificial taste, but the greasy pie was stronger than the peach flavor.

これまでに行った店舗はマックシェイク 森永ミルクキャラメル同様、どこも売り切れて
いたのだけれど、新宿駅南口近くの店舗ではまだ販売されていた。
発売当時は明るい色が使われた箱に入っていたのだと思う。

三角のパイはとてもサクサクし、かなり油っこかった。
パイを持つとサクサクの軽いパイシートが剥がれ、指がギトギトになった。
噛むとサクッと音がし、パイ生地もほんのりピンク色だった。
フィリングには和歌山県産の白鳳という桃が100％使用されていて、桃の甘い香りがした。
ふんわりとした桃の香りがあり、人工的な桃の味ではなかったけれど、油っこいパイの
味がずっと強かった。
淡いピンク色のフィリングはあまりとろっとはしておらず、ヘアトリートメントのような
硬さと粘度だった。
