Today, July 11, 2016, PepsiCo brought Crystal Pepsi back on the shelves in Canada while the States will have it on August 8th, and both countries sell the soda for a limited time.
This is my first time to try Pepsi Crystal and here is the brief history.
It's a caffeine-free soft drink sold in 1992 and 1993, but it's pulled from the market in 1995.
In the States, it's re-launched in 2015 as a promotion.
Today, I went to the supermarket in Montreal but didn't see any on the soda shelves, and I asked one of the staffs and he said, "There're large boxes in the fruit section near the entrance."
So I ran back to the section and looked for the box, then there're lots of Crystal Pepsi bottles.
Though it'a new product, it's on sale for 2 for 4 CND dollars. (1 for 2.49 CND dollars.)
French language makes everything fancy in my opinion.
A pond of Crystal Pepsi, or I should say Pepsi Cristal, which is a French name.
I bought 2 bottles because why not.
It's a clear soda water with sweet scent.
It's like champagne with fine bubbles and form on the top.
It's so clear that you I could see the wall behind.
The wallpaper was seen.
Fine bubbles in the soda and it's quite sweet as I'm used to diet soda.
It had similar flavor to Ramune, lemon flavored sweet soda water and it's refreshing.
Apparently, it's reformulated and contains caffeine.

今日2016年7月11日、カナダでクリスタルペプシが再発売された。
アメリカでは8月6日に発売予定で、両国ともに期間限定での提供となる。
今回初めて飲むので、簡単なクリスタルペプシの歴史を以下に書く。
これは1992〜1993年に販売されていた透明なカフェインが入っていないソフトドリンクで
1995年に販売が終了した。
米国ではプロモーションとして、2015年に再販売されていたらしい。
今日、モントリオールのスーパーマーケットに行って探したものの、ソーダの棚に並んで
いなかったので店員に聞くと「入り口近くの果物売り場に大きな箱があるよ」と教えて
くれた。
走ってその場に戻ると、大きな箱が2個あり、中にはクリスタルペプシが沢山並んでいた。
新商品だけれど、2本で4カナダドルで販売されていた。（1本だと2.49カナダドル）
フランス語だと、あらゆるものが上品に聞こえる。
クリスタルペプシの山。
とりあえず2本購入。
透明な炭酸水に甘い香りを足したようだった。
シャンパンのように泡が立ち、表面にふわふわの泡ができた。
壁が透けてみえる透明度。
壁紙も見えた。
細かい泡が立っていて、ダイエットソーダに慣れているためかなり甘く感じた。
ラムネ（レモン風味の甘い炭酸水）に近い味ですっきりしていた。
このクリスタルペプシは材料が改良され、カフェインを含んでいた。
これはダイエットではないため、1本あたり（591ml）あたり250キロカロリーもある。
