When we went to Montreal in May, we saw a cat cafe called Cafe Venosa on St-Denis but as it's late at night, it's already closed.
Last time I was in Montreal, I had enough time to visit the vegan cafe during daytime.
Unlike other cat cafes I've been to, they don't take reservations and I just walked in.
The space was quite large with sofas and tables, and about a half of the tables was taken by a group of visitors.
If you're ordering food or drinks to-go, you can place an order at the cash register, but if you're going to stay, you can simply choose a place you'd like.

"Cafe Venosa's Rules" was placed on a table with menus.

I wanted to try Chia Pudding with Fruit, but it's out of stock that day and I got a smoothie.
The glass jar was quite large, and it tasted like strawberry, mango, banana, possibly with raspberry and apple, too.
It's fruity, sweet and sour, and thick.
As it's a cat cafe, there sure were cats but for the spacious cafe, the amount of cats didn't seem to be enough. (I think there're 4 cats that day.)
Most of the cats was sleeping or walking around when they're awake for a short time.
When I was playing with one of the cats, the nails were long and sharp and I had a finger bleeding, and it made me doubt the condition of the cats.
It doesn't require reservation or hourly fee but the food or drink's fee, and for that, I think it's a good spot; it's more like a cafe whose value is elevated with cats.

5月にモントリオールに行った時、サン-ドニ通りにカフェ ベノーサという猫カフェを
見つけた。
ただ、夜遅かったので閉店していた。
前回モントリオールに行った時は時間があったので、昼間にこのビーガン（完全菜食
主義）カフェに行った。
これまでに行った猫カフェとは異なり、予約ができなかったので直接店舗に行った。
店内は広く、ソファ席やテーブル席があり、テーブル席の半分程度が団体客で埋まって
いた。
もちテイクアウトで食べ物や飲み物を注文する場合はレジで頼み、店内で飲食するので
あれば、好きな席に座るようになっていた。
ビーガンの食べ物と飲み物がショーケースに入っていた。
新商品のアボカド トースト。
「カフェ ベノーサでの規則」がメニューと一緒にテーブルに置いてあった。

フルーツ入りのチアシードプリンが食べたかったけれど、この日はなかったので、
スムージーを頼んだ。
大きなガラス瓶に入っていて、イチゴ、マンゴー、バナナの味がし、もしかしたらラズ
ベリーとリンゴも入っていたかもしれない。
フルーティーで甘酸っぱく、どろっとしていた。
猫カフェなのでもちろん猫はいたのだけれど、広い店内にしては猫の数が少ないように
感じた。（この日は4匹いたと思う）

ほとんどの猫は昼寝をしたり、少し起きて歩いたりしていた。
とある猫と遊んでいる時に、爪が長いままだったので引っかかれて流血したので、猫の
手入れが行き届いていない印象だった。
予約不要、何分いても利用料がかからず飲食代金だけなので、気が向いた時にふらっと
立ち寄る分には良いと思える、あくまでも猫は付加価値を与える程度で飲食が主体の
カフェだった。
