My husband found we'd-never-seen potato chips called "Tim's Cascade Style Potato Chips" at Target in Daly City, California, and he got a bag of jalapeño flavor.

I have no idea what Cascade Style but it seems like it's kettle cooked potato chips made in the shadow of the Cascade Mountains, which is also called Cascade Range from southern British Columbia, Washington, Oregon to northern California.

It had ordinary jalapeño flavor with garlic and onion flavor.

Each chip was coated with fine powder.

Though it's kettle cooked, the chips weren't that thick in my opinion.

It had some heat of jalapeño, but I tasted strong garlic and onion.
I liked moderate jalapeño spiciness, but I wish it's richer than other seasonings.

私たちがこれまでに見たことがない「ティムズ カスケードスタイル ポテトチップス」の
ハラペーニョ味を、旦那がカリフォルニア州デイリーシティで買ってきた。

カスケードスタイルが何なのかよく分からないけれど、裏面を読む限りカスケード山脈の
影で作られたケトルクック チップス（鍋で揚げた堅揚げチップス）らしい。
カスケード山脈はブリテッシュ・コロンビア州の南部からワシントン州、オレゴン州、
カリフォルニア州の北部に渡る。

よくあるハラペーニョの香りと一緒に、ニンニク、タマネギの香りもした。
かくチップスは細かい粉で覆われていた。

ケトルクックと書いてあったけれど、あまり分厚いとは思わなかった。

ハラペーニョの辛さが多少あったけれど、ニンニクとタマネギの味が強かった。
適度な辛さは楽しめたものの、他の調味料よりハラペーニョの味が強かったら良かった。
