Halloween Ghost Honey Toast From Cascade
カスケードのハロウィンおばけハニトー

One night, we're thinking about getting a honey toast from Cascade, which is a restaurant underneath a karaoke building called Pasela in Shinjuku.
We're there there around 11 PM and luckily we were seated without any wait.
They had Halloween menu besides regular items, and we got a Halloween Ghost Honey Toast, which is called Halloween Obake Hanito (ハロウィンおばけハニトー) in Japanese.
* Hanito is an abbreviation of Honey Toast.
Halloween Ghost Honey Toast
It's hard to see in the photo as it's dark, but as you can see the menu, it's not a slice of bread but a good amount of a loaf of bread, which itself was maybe close to 20cm (7.87 inch) high.
There're a ghost with a hat on, a bat (biscuit), whipped cream, strawberry, mango, blueberry and raspberry.
The ghost was made with a sheet of mochi, sticky rice cake, covering a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Some of the whipped cream was covered with cocoa powder.
The biscuit bat was a bit stale and didn't have much taste.
The fruits except strawberry were frozen cut fruits.
As the loaf of toast was very hot, the ice cream ghost started melting and sliding off, and it looked in a way horrific.
The hat, eyes and mouth were made with dark chocolate.
The crust was crispy and light, and the inside was soft, fluffy, and moist.
Especially the inner white part absorbed honey really well, it's sweet and tasty as always.
23時頃に行くと、運良く待たずにすぐに座ることができた。
通常メニューに加えてハロウィンメニューがあり、「ハロウィンおばけハニトー」を
注文した。

ハニートーストはパン一切れではなく、一斤が使われているので、パンだけで高さが約
20センチほどあった。
帽子をかぶったお化け、コウモリ（ビスケット）、生クリーム、イチゴ、マンゴー、
ブルーベリーが乗っていた。
お化けの口はメニュー画像と上下反対になっていて、困ったような顔になっていた。
お化けはお餅のシートでできていて、土台はバニラアイスクリームだった。
生クリームにはココアパウダーがかかっている部分があった。
ビスケットのコウモリは少し湿気っていて、特に味はなかった。
イチゴ以外の果物は、冷凍のカットフルーツだった。
トーストは熱々だったので、アイスクリームが溶けてお化けが滑り落ちてきて、若干
ホラー要素があった。
帽子、目、口は全てダークチョコレートでできていた。
耳はサクサクしていて軽く、中はふんわり柔らかく、しっとりしていた。
特に内側の白い部分がハチミツをよく吸って、とても甘く毎度のごとく美味しかった。
