Burgeranch is an Israeli fast-food chain opened in 1972 and it's been competing with McDonald's.
In 1992, Burger King started business in Israel, but in 2010, Orgad Holdings that had bought Burger King in 2005 announced they'd rebrand Burger King as Burgeranch.

My husband said it reminds him his childhood and we made sure to go and try some.
The branch we went to had several "burger motorcycles" and I think they do delivery, too.

The employee was't attentive and unwilling to take orders, but we managed to place our order.
We got a "Ranch" on the right top as a combo.

In about 10 minutes or so, finally the combo was given.
There're ketchup and salt in the bag.

The Ranch burger didn't look like the ad; only a patty between sesame seed bun.

Inside, there're a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato and aurora sauce (ketchup & mayonnaise).

It's a Kosher patty so that I didn't taste good as I learned from McDonald's.
To make matters worse, this patty had no flavor, was gummy and stinky.

My husband said that it's the only option to eat burger when he's little, and he remembers Burgeranch as "ok" but now he thinks it's terrible.
We ended up having a couple of bites only and we're done.

Crinkle cut fries weren't crispy at all and they're really greasy, soft, and lukewarm as if they'd been sitting in a warm oil all day.

Well, I tried the Israeli burger, but meh... no another visit planned.


バーガーランチは1972年に開店したイスラエルのファストフードチェーンで、ライバルは
マクドナルド。
1992年にバーガーキングがイスラエルへ進出したものの、オーガッド ホールディングス
（2005年にバーガーキングを買収）が2010年にバーガーキングをバーガーランチとして
再出発すると発表した。

旦那は子供の頃に食べた思い出あり、今回の旅行中にも行ってきた。
私たちが行った店舗にはハンバーガーの形をしたトランクが付いたバイクが数台あり、
デリバリーもしているようだった。

店員は無愛想で注文を取るのを面倒くさそうにしていたけれど、とりあえず注文する
ことはできた。
「ランチ」という名前のバーガーをポテトとソーダのセットで頼んだ。

10分ほどでやっと商品が出され、ケチャップと塩の袋も入っていた。
ランチバーガーは広告には似ておらず、白ゴマ付きのパンお間にパティだけが見えた。
中にはレタス1枚、スライストマトが1枚、ケチャップとマヨネーズを混ぜたオーロラ
ソースが入っていた。

コーシャー牛肉のパティなので、マクドナルドで学んだように美味しくなかった。
さらに悪いことには、このパティには風味がなく、グニャグニャしていて臭かった。
小さい頃にハンバーガーを食べる際、バーバーランチが唯一の選択肢だったと旦那が
言っていて、味は「まぁまぁ」だと記憶していたものの、今回は「不味い」と思った
らしい。
数口食べただけで、完食しなかった。

クリンクルカット（波形のポテト）はカリッとした食感がなく、ぬるい油にずっと浸して
あったかのような脂っこさと柔らかさで、熱々でもなかった。

これは「う〜ん」という味だったので、再訪はない。
