Plain Cruller From Donut Delight

I had 2 donuts and a hot tea from Donut Delight the other day in the morning.
Usually I try something new and this time, I got a Plain Cruller and a Double Chocolate.
The Plain Cruller was a long and twisted donut.
Maybe it was about 20cm ( inch) long.
The surface had some sugar flakes, but mostly it’s dry and matte, and I think the sugars were from Double Chocolate which was put in the same paper bag.
The outside, especially the ends were crispy.
It’s a bit firm like old fashion donut and it’s stable while I was holding one of the ends.
Though it’s “plain,” it had cinnamon and nutmeg flavor.
I liked the slightly hard and dried texture, but I didn’t like seasonings.
Every time I order something plain, they always taste like some spices.
When I ordered a hot tea, the cashier asked me, “How would you like it?” and I was confused as I’ve never heard the question to tea but steaks, and the cash register was showing “coffee” which I rarely drink, so I said to her, “I ordered a tea.”
She didn’t say anything or corrected the order, but repeated the same question; how would you like it?
Then she irritatingly asked me, “Sugar? Cream?”
I finally got what she was asking and had it straight (no sugar or cream) but the receipt was still “coffee.”
The tea was from Harney & Sons that I’ve never heard of.

朝ご飯にドーナツ2個と温かいお茶をドーナツデライトで買った。
食べたことがないものを買うことにしているので、今回はプレーン クルーラーとダブル
チョコレートにした。
プレーン クルーラーは長く、ねじってあるドーナツで、長さは20センチほど。
表面に少し砂糖の破片が付いていたけれど全体的にサラッとしていたので、同じ紙袋に
入っていたダブルチョコレートのものだと思う。
外側、特に端がサクサクしていた。
オールドファッションのように少し硬さがあり、片方の端を持って食べても安定して
いた。
プレーンと書かれていたけれどシナモンやナツメグの香りがし、硬めで乾燥した食感は
好きだったけれど味が苦手だった。
ここのプレーンはいつもスパイスの味がする。
温かいお茶を注文した時、店員に「どのようになさいます？」と聞かれ、そのフレーズは
ステーキの焼き加減を聞かれる時以外耳にしたことがなかったので、最初は何を聞かれて
いるのかよく分からなかった。
また、レジの画面には私が滅多に頼まない「コーヒー」の文字が映し出されていたので、
「温かいお茶を頼んだのですが」と言うと、何も言わず訂正もしないまま同じ質問「どの
ようにします？」が繰り返された
その後、イライラした口調で「砂糖？ミルク？」と言われた。
やっと何を聞かれていたのか分かり、ストレート（砂糖もミルクもなし）でお願いした。
お茶はHarney & Sonsという聞いたことがないブランドだった。
