My husband found "Christmas Crunch" at Walmart last weekend.
This is a special version of Cap'n Crunch and available only in Christmas season (sold in December only).

The first Christmas Crunch was launched in 1988 and on the box, Cap'n is wearing a Santa Clause hat and clothes.

Back in time, the box contained a toy or a Christmas tree ornament in the box.

Cap'n Crunch's is manufactured by Quaker Oats Company since 1963, and it's a division of PepsiCo since 2001 after merging.

On the back, "Decorate your holiday crafts with some Christmas Crunch" is says, and suggestions are to dress up a gingerbread house kit and stringing the cereal for a garland.

In the box, there're regular shaped yellow cereal which are in Cap'n Crunch, and also red and green cereals.

From the leeft, snowman (we think), Santa hat, tree, star and yellow square.

Red and green were used for the 4 holiday shapes randomly, so there's also red Santa hat.

They're as sweet and crispy as regular Cap'n Crunch, so I don't think they added any special holiday flavor to this cereal.

There're some purple cereals mixed with green which looked like camouflage, but they tasted the same as others.

ウォルマートで旦那が「クリスマス クランチ」というシリアルを見つけた。

これは「キャップン クランチ」というシリアルのクリスマス限定版で、12月のみ販売

されている。

クリスマス クランチは1988年に初めて発売され、箱にはサンタの帽子を洋服を着た

キャップンが載っている。

当時はおもちゃかクリスマスツリーに飾るオーナメントが箱に入っていたらしい。

キャップン クランチはクエーカーオーツカンパニーが1963年から製造しているもので、

2001年にクエーカーはペプシコと合併。

裏面には「クリスマス クランチを使ってホリデークラフトを飾ろう」と書かれていて、

ジンジャーブレッドハウスにデコレーションとして使ったり、紐にシリアルを通し花冠 を

作ったりする案が載っていた。

中にはキャップン クランチに入っている黄色の四角いシリアルと、赤と緑のシリアルが

入っていた。

全5種類の形は（恐らく）雪だるま、サンタの帽子、ツリー、星、通常の四角いシリアル

で、赤と緑は無作為に使われているため、赤色のサンタの帽子もあった。

通常のキャップン クランチと同じほど甘くサクサクしていたので、このバージョンには

特別な味付けがされていないと思う。

中にはいくつか紫色と緑色が混ざった迷彩柄のようなシリアルがあったけれど、味は他と

変わらなかった。
