In a foil pouch, there're 2 thin rectangular pastries inside, and it's sold in a paper box with 4 pouches (total 8 pieces).
You can eat it at room temperature or heated in a toaster.
It's not required to keep it refrigerated.
To celebrate its 50th anniversary, they launched a limited flavor "Chocolate Vanilla Crème Birthday Edition" in winter 2014, according to Wikipedia.
We found this in July or August, but I didn't have a chance to try it and I finally had it.
The package has 5 and 0 shaped candles with light over a Pop-Tarts.
At the right bottom, there's an image of whipped cream.
On the top, there're colorful bubbles.
On the back, there's a "50th Birthday Photobomb" to cut out and use, but I've never used this.
The pouch was same as regular flavors.
Over a brown piece of biscuit, there're white frosting with chocolate sprinkles.
The filling inside tasted like that of Oreo, and it's not dried or runny, but firm and smooth.
The brown dough was chocolate flavor and had a hint of bitterness.
The frosting on the top was crispy and sweet.
Overall, it tasted like sweeter version of Oreo to me with softer texture.

エディション」が2014年冬に発売されたとウィキペディアに載っていた。
7月か8月に買ったけれどずっと食べる機会がなく、今日やっと食べられた。
パッケージには火がついた5と0の形をしたキャンドルが、ポップターツの上に乗せられて
いた。
右下には絞った生クリームの写真が載っていた。
開け口には鮮やかな色の泡が散りばめられていた。
背面には 写真を撮る時にわざと紛れ込ませるための「50周年ポップターツ」があり、切り
取り線があったけどまだ一度も使っていない。
中の袋は通常のフレーバーと同じだった。
中には茶色のビスケット生地の上に白いフロスティングと、チョコレートの 粒が乗って
いた。
中のフィリングはオレオの白いクリームに似た味だった。
フィリングは乾燥しておらず、緩くもなく、しっかりしつつも滑らかだった。
生地は少しだけ苦みのあるチョコレート味で、上に乗っていたフロスティングはサクッと
していて甘かった。
オレオを甘く、柔らかくしたような味だった。
