In July, my husband happened to buy a big bag of "Combos Jalapeño Cheddar Tortilla" and we couldn't stop eating.
We bought a mini bag again, so I decided to review this.

Combos Baked Snacks, a.k.a. Combos, are cracker, pretzel or tortilla tubes with various fillings distributed by Mars Incorporation.

I've had Combos Cheddar Pretzel before but this one is Tortilla like the package says (underneath the "Jalapeño Cheddar").

On the left top corner, it says "stone ground corn" like authentic way to make corn tortilla.

In the bag, there're light yellow corn tortilla tubes with yellow cheddar cheese.

It had cheddar cheese scent and fragrant corn flavor.

And also I saw a lot of shiny salts over the tubes.

The tortilla was crunchy, crispy, and it's much lither and more fragile than pretzel version.

The cheese filling inside had some heat from jalapeño but not too spicy-hot.
Cheddar cheese was so strong and rich so that the spiciness of jalapeño didn't come out too strong.

The balance of saltiness, crispiness of the tortilla tubes, richness of the cheese filling, and the heat of jalapeño is great and once I start eating, it's almost impossible to stop myself eating this till the bag is empty.

7月に旦那がたまたま買った「コンボス ハラペーニョ チェダー トルティーヤ」がかなり
美味しくて、あっと言う間に食べ切ってしまった。
今回は小袋を買ったので、レビューを書くことにした。

コンボスは 筒型のお菓子で、中に様々なフィリングが入っている。
筒はクラッカー、プレッツェル、トルティーヤの3種類があり、正式名称はコンボス
ベイクド スナックスと言い、マース インコーポレイテッドが所有するブランド。

以前チェダー プレッツェルを食べたことがあるけれど、これはトルティーヤが使われて
いる。
左上の角には「石で挽いたトウモロコシを使用」と書いてあった。

袋の中にはチェダーチーズが入った淡い黄色のトルティーヤの筒がゴロゴロ入っていて、
チェダーチーズとトルティーヤの香ばしい香りがした。
また、トルティーヤの筒にはキラキラした塩が沢山かかっていた。

トルティーヤの筒はサクサクしていて、プレッツェルよりもずっと軽く、もろかった。
チーズフィリングはハラペーニョのピリッとした辛さがあったけれど、チェダーチーズの
香りと味が強く、ハラペーニョの辛さはあまり目立たなかった。
塩気、トルティーヤのサクサク感、チーズフィリングの濃厚さ、ハラペーニョの辛さの
バランスが良く、一度食べ始めるとなかなか手を止められない。
