Petit Bouchée (Choco & Banana Flavor)

Lotte launched "Petit Bouchée (Choco & Banana Flavor)" on July 8, 2014.
The theme was "Natsu Matsuri" and it's summer festival in English.
* Choco is an abbreviation of chocolate in Japanese.
On the front, there're 2 chocolate covered bananas, which can be found at food stands at the festivals, but I don't remember seeing them when I was a kid, or maybe I didn't pay attention much to fruits.
On the upper side of the package, there're colorful fireworks in the blue sky.
There's a plastic tray inside which was holding 8 individual packages of petit bouchée.
It's a orange patterned silver pouch.
This is the bouchée with chocolate lines on the top.
The main target is housewives between 30s - 50s, so this elegant design made sense to me.
Between cocoa flavored cakes, there're banana cream and chocolate cream.
The cakes were soft and moist, the chocolate on the top was crispy, and both cream inside was creamy.
Banana flavored cream was a little bit sweeter than chocolate cream.
On the package, it's written that it'd have crunchy texture like a chocolate bar if it's refrigerated, so I put it in a fridge.
However, the cocoa cakes became dry even though I didn't open the individual pouch.
Of course the chocolate and banana cream became harder as it's cold, but I didn't like the dried-out texture cakes.
I liked room temperature bouchée much better.

発売された。
パッケージ上部には青空に鮮やかな花火が上がっていて、パッケージ正面には「チョコ
バナナ」の画像が載っていた。
屋台でチョコバナナを見かけるようになったのは最近のような気がする。
私が子供の頃はなかったか、単に果物に目が行ってなかったかどちらか。
袋の中にはプラスチックのトレーが入っていて、個包装のブッセが8つ並んでいた。
小袋はオレンジ色の模様が入った銀色だった。
ブッセの上にチョコレートの線が描かれていて、ココアケーキの間にはバナナクリームと
チョコレートクリームが挟まれていた。
メインターゲットが30〜50代の主婦というのが分かる、上品なデザイン。
ケーキはしっとりしていて柔らかく、チョコレートの装飾はパリッとし、中のクリームは
2種類とも滑らかだった。
バナナクリームの方が、チョコレートクリームよりも少し甘いように感じた。
パッケージに「冷やすとパリッと板チョコ食感」と書かれていたので、冷蔵庫で冷やして
食べてみたけれど、個包装されたままにも関わらずケーキ生地が乾燥し、モソモソした
食感になっていた。
チョコレート、バナナクリームは冷えていたのでパリッとはしていたけれど、乾いた
生地が気になって美味しいとは思わなかった。
常温で食べる方が好きだった。
