I don't remember since when Yamazaki has been selling a cookie called "Rosenet Cookie," but I'm positive that I've eaten this at least from high school.
Before, it's cheaper than 100 yen after tax, but when I bought it a bit ago, it's 108 yen (tax incl.) so they've been raising the price with time.
When I was in university, I tried chocolate coated Rosenet Cookie, but I haven't seen it so it might have been a season limited version.

This is the package.

Underneath the product name, there's a brief description of the Rosenet Cookie.
"Rose shaped crisp cookie."

From the top.
It kind of looks like a rose they way it's folded and twisted.

Crispy and golden brown cookie with shiny sugar coating.

From the side.
It's like a thicker and crunchier version of churro without rough white sugar around the dough.

Despite the crispy surface, inside was slightly moister and softer.

It's my bad habit but I always eat this (well, actually other confectioneries and breads, too) without any drink even though I feel like it's choking me or making me thirsty.
Because I wanna enjoy this high-calories crispy cookie in my mouth, throat and stomach all the way without any other object.

Though I know it's incredibly high in calories, I sometimes crave this crispy, moist, and heavy cookie snack.

「ローズネットクッキー」を山崎がいつから発売しているか正確には分からないけれど、
少なくとも高校生の時には食べていたと思う。
昔は税込で100円もしなかったけれど、先日買った時は税込108円だったので、徐々に
値上げしていたのだと思う。
また、私が大学生の頃にはチョコレートがかかったローズネットクッキーも販売されて
いたけれど、最近は全く見ないので限定商品だったのかもしれない。

商品名の下にはローズネットクッキーについて簡単な説明があった。
「歯切れの良いクッキー生地をバラの花をモチーフにした形に仕上げました。」

上から見ると、それとなくバラの花のような形。
きつね色のクッキーにはシュガーコーティングが薄くかかっていた。

横から見ると分かるように、チュロスをもっとサクサクにしたような食感で、周りには
ジャリジャリした砂糖がかかっていない。

表面はサクサクしているけれど、中身は少しだけしっとりとしていて柔らかい。
私の悪いクセは、このローズネットクッキーを食べると喉がつっかえそうになったり、
喉が渇いたりすると分かっているのに、いつも飲み物を飲まずに食べてしまう。
（これ以外にもドーナツや菓子パンを食べる時は常に飲み物を飲まずに一気に食べる。）
理由はとても簡単で、他の物を入れずにこの高カロリーのサクサククッキーで口、喉、
お腹の全てを満たしたいから。
高カロリーと分かっていても、サクサク感としっとり食感を楽しめるずっしりと重みの
あるローズネットクッキーは、たまに食べたくなる。
