Megmilk Snow Brand Launched Brazilian Custard Pudding "Pudim"
雪印メグミルクが発売したブラジル風カスタードプリン「プジン」

Megmilk Snow Brand, a dairy product maker, launched "Pudim," which is a Brazilian custard pudding, on March 25, 2014.
In Brazil, pudding is called "Pudim."

These days, so many companies have created various Brazil-themed products as FIFA World Cup is held in Brazil.

Commonly, custard puddings are made of milk and eggs, but in Brazil, they use condensed milk (dulce de leche), and this Pudim is re-creating the Brazilian custard pudding.
And at home, they sometimes put fruits comport in the caramel.
Megmilk Snow Brand got an idea from the tradition and used raisin flavor.

I was trying to figure out where I've seen this cup, then I realized that they used exactly the same cup which was used for "The Rose Of Versailles" pudding.

The Pudim was tough so that when I scooped, it stayed the way it was.

It's not that firm when I ate it and it's quite smooth and very sweet without caramel sauce.
I didn't smell raisin even though they said they used the flavor.

The birds on the cup and lid are their original birds, but they seem to be White-Throat Toucan wearing the uniform.

開発している。

通常のカスタードプリンは牛乳と卵を使うのに対し、ブラジルでは練乳と卵を使ったものが定番で、

その味をイメージした商品になっている。

また、ブラジルの家庭ではコンポートしたフルーツを入れたカラメルを使用することもあり、

このプジンにはレーズン風味が効いているとのこと。

このカップをどこかで見たことがあるなぁ、と思っていたら、「ベルバラ ベツばらプリン」と全く同じ形状のものだった。

このプジンは固めで、スプーンですくったままの形で崩れなかった。

食べてみるとそれほど固くはなく滑らかで、カラメルソースがない状態でもかなり甘かった。
また、レーズンの風味が効いていると書かれていたけれど、レーズンの味は全くしなかった。

カップや蓋に載っている鳥はオリジナルとのことだけれど、ユニフォームを着たシロムネオオハシに
見えた。
