Like the Wasabi flavor, KitKat has a lot of local only flavors.

Today, I tried "Shinshu Apple" flavor.

Shinshu Apple (known as 信州りんご / Shinshu Ringo in Japanese) is produced in Nagano prefecture and the characteristic point of this kind of apple is it contains a lot of apple syrup (around the core).

When I opened the package, I could smell sweet apple flavor instantly.
I thought they'd used white chocolate as apple is sweet but fresh, yet it was milk chocolate like regular KitKat.

Apple flavor and taste were very strong, and I'm not sure if that strong and fruity sweetness went well with chocolate.

先日食べた わさび と同じくに、キットカットには地域限定フレーバーが沢山ある。
今日は「信州りんご」を食べてみた。

信州りんごは長野県で生産されていて、特徴は芯（種）の周りにある蜜が多い点。

袋を開けるとりんごの甘い香りがした。
りんごはさっぱりした甘さなので、ホワイトチョコレートが使われているかと思ったら、
普通のキットカットと同じミルクチョコレートだった。

りんごの味と香りがしっかりしていて、個人的にはフルーティな甘さとチョコレートがあまり合って
いないように感じた。
