Seven Premium Tori Kamameshi No Moto

A friend of mine gave me this Seven Premium Tori Kamameshi No Moto.

Tori is chicken, No in this case is "for," Moto is mix, so it's a mix for chicken kamameshi.
Kamameshi (釜めし) is a personal sized kettle cooked rice, and the traditional seasonings are soy sauce and mirin, they top the rice with vegetables and meat or fish.

This is Salmon and Salmon Roe Kamameshi.

This mix, however, doesn't require a kettle and you can instead cook with a rice cooker.
There's a pouch in the box.

On the back of the box, there're instructions how to cook.
1. Put 3 cups of rice and water.
2. Pour the whole contents of the pouch, stir, then cook.

My rice cooker is small and it says, "Up to 2 cups for Takikomi Gohan" so that I only put 2 and a quarter cup or rice and water.
* Takikomi Gohan (炊き込みご飯) is a type of rice dish that is cooked with dashi broth, vegetables and meat/fish.

When it's cooked, the ingredients were on the top as they're lightweight, so that I mixed the rice well.

There're carrots, bamboo shoots, burdock, shiitake mushrooms, Jew's-ears and konjac, and it had soy sauce and mirin scent.
Ingredients were soft and bamboo shoots had some crunchy textures.
Fried tofu and chicken had absorbed fish broth more than others.
It's sweet and soy sauce flavored, and thanks to ginger, it's not too sweet and light.
It's easy to prepare and the Kamameshi was quite tasty.

友達からセブンプレミアム 鶏釜めしの素をもらった。

釜めしとは一人用のお釜で炊いたもので、醤油やみりんでの味付けが伝統的で、野菜や
肉、魚を乗せて炊く。

これは鮭イクラ釜めし。

この釜めしの素は釜は不要で、炊飯器で作ることができる。
箱の中には袋が1つ入っていた。

袋の裏に作り方が書いてあった。
1. お米3合と水を3合の線まで入れる
2. 袋の中身を全て入れ、混ぜて炊く

私の炊飯器は小さく、「炊き込みご飯は2合まで」と書いてあったので2合と1/4のお米と
水を入れた。

炊きあがると重量の軽い具材は上にあったので、良く混ぜた。

ニンジン、たけのこ、ごぼう、椎茸、キクラゲ、こんにゃくが入っていて、醤油やみりんの
香りがした。
具材は柔らかく、たけのこに少しシャキシャキした食感があった。
油揚げと鶏肉に魚介の出汁が特によく染み込みていた。
少し甘みのある醤油味で、生姜の香りもあって甘すぎずあっさりしていた。
混ぜて炊くだけで、美味しい釜めしが食べられた。
