Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich Form FPB

On my way home, I found a bakery called "FPB," standing for Francois Payard Bakery, was selling Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches.
There're 4 flavors; salted caramel, pistachio raspberry, coconut mango and vanilla brownie, and each flavor had different macaron.
When I asked any recommendation, an employee said either salted caramel or pistachio raspberry, so I got the latter flavor.
The box was about 12cm (4.7 inch) tall.
The depth was about 5cm (2 inch).
The backside was colorful.
The last flavor wasn't listed on the poster and they might be reusing this packaging which was meant for the former ice cream sandwiches.

I peeled off the dotted section while letting the box stand so that the sandwich wouldn't touch the table.
Between pistachio green macaron, there're raspberry and pistachio ice cream.
Macaron was light and crispy, but they didn't have chewy texture, and the surface was a bit sticky.
Ice cream was fruity, creamy, and refreshing, and the texture was a mix of ice cream and sorbet, especially the raspberry part was similar to sorbet.
I found some pistachio chunks in the pistachio ice cream.
I could hold the sandwich more stable than ice cream sandwiches served with cookies, and because of the skinny and straight form, it's easier to bite into while keeping shape.
It's not too small or too big, and the ice cream was flavorful and the macaron was acceptable even though it didn't have chewiness, and I thought the price wasn't bad either.

窓のポスターには「マカロン アイスクリーム サンドイッチが、以前より美味しくなって
再登場！ 」と書いてあった。
フレーバーは塩キャラメル、ピスタチオ ラズベリー、ココナッツ マンゴー、バニラ
ブラウニーの4種類あり、各フレーバーでマカロンの種類が違っていた。
店員にお勧めを聞くと塩キャラメルかピスタチオ ラズベリーと言っていたので、後者を
選択。
箱は高さが約12センチ、奥行きが5センチほどだった。
ポスターに載っていなかったフレーバーが1つあり、以前のアイスクリーム サンドイッチ
用に作られたものを再利用しているのかもしれない。
箱を立てたまま点線に沿って開封し、サンドイッチがテーブルに触れないようにした。
ピスタチオ色のマカロンの間に、ラズベリーとピスタチオのアイスクリームが挟まれて
いて、アイスはフルーティーですっきりし、クリーミーで、シャーベットとアイスの間の
ような食感だった。
特にラズベリーがシャーベットのようだった。
マカロンは表面が少しベタッとしサクサクしていて軽く、むっちりした食感はなかった。
クッキーに挟まれているアイスクリーム サンドイッチに比べてしっかりと持つことが
でき、細長い形だったのでバランスを保ちながらかじることができた。
小さすぎず、大きすぎることもなく、美味しいアイスクリームとむっちり感はないものの
悪くはない食感のマカロンだったので、値段は良心的だと思った。
