I saw a mini bag of King's Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls at Seven Eleven in San Francisco.
The commercial shows a wife hides a bag of rolls in the house but always husband finds and eats them all, and I was wondering how tasty the rolls were.
However, until I saw the commercial, I didn't know about this brand or the rolls, so I was excited to try.
On the back, there's their history.
Our Story
Back in the 1950s in Hilo, Hawaii, a young man named Robert Taira had a passion for baking. Working with the finest ingredients, he refined his recipe until he created a bread that was soft, sweet and irresistible. Today, three generations of the Taira family continue the legacy and the aloha spirit, staying true to the original recipe.
Sharing is an important part of the Hawaiian tradition, but we also know our rolls are so delectable that sometimes you want them all to yourself. This pack is sized just for you and perfect on the go.
There's a square bread made of 4 rolls and there're 4 round tops.
It's about 8cm (3.15 inch) at the tallest part, and the one side was about 18cm (7 inch).
I wanna make french toast with this fluffy bread in the future.

CMでは奥さんがこのパンを家の中に隠しても、いつも旦那さんが袋を見つけて全て1人で
食べてしまうという内容で、どれだけ美味しいのか気になっていた。
ただ、このコマーシャルを見るまではこのブランドも商品も知らなかった。
裏面には歴史が書かれていた。
私たちの物語り
1950年代、ハワイのヒロに住むロバート・タイラという若い男性が情熱を持ってパンを
焼いていた。柔らかく甘く、止まらない美味しさのパンを作るため、最高級の材料を
使い、改良を重ねた。今日、タイラ家3世代に渡って受け継がれてきたものとアロハの
精神を持ち、元祖レシピに忠実であり続けている。
ハワイの伝統において分けることは大切なことだけれど、この美味しいパンを独り占め
したくなる気持ちも分かるので、これはあなたにぴったりの大きさで、持ち運びにも丁度
良いサイズになっている。
中には4個のロールが一塊になり、4個の山がある四角いパンが入っていた。
1番高い部分は8センチほどあり、一辺は約18センチだった。
表面は淡く焼き色がついていて、どこを食べてもふんわりし、ほんのり甘く、とても柔ら
かいパンだった。
プレーンな味だったけれど、このまま食べても美味しかった。
この柔らかいパンでフレンチトーストを作ってみたいと思った。
