Chicken Tenders & Fries Combo From AMC Theatres

We went to see "Penguins of Madagascar" today at one of the AMC Theatres.
Every time we go to AMC, we optimize the benefit of the membership card to get discount or upgrade the size of the soda.
Today, we've bought "Chicken Tenders & Fries Combo," and it's our second time to get it.
(Last time we got was at "John Wick.")
In less than a month, they've changed the package design.
It used to be a red and white box without image photos, and possibly there's no sauce holder either.
On the top, there's a photo of a chicken slider, a cup of BBQ sauce, curly fries and chicken tenders.
And also there're appetizing adjectives describing the contents.
When I lifted the lid with full of photos, I saw "Treat yourself."
There're 3 kinds of sauces to choose from; ranch, honey mustard or BBQ, and we chose BBQ.
Underneath the lid with "Treat yourself," there're a lot of chicken tenders and curly fries.
We didn't count, but there're more than 7 pieces of chickens.
Each piece had about 10cm (3.9 inch) long and was quite heavy.
The breading seemed to contain black pepper and parsley, and it had some heat like red pepper but I'm not sure if it's from the BBQ sauce which had both sweet and spicy flavor.
Inside of the crunchy breading, there's a moist white meat.
There's a weird piece which must have been connected while frying, and the piece was not fully cooked and had uncooked soggy and mushy breading in the middle, which wasn't edible.
Curly fries were crispy outside and inside was soft.
The breading had flavorful seasoning.
For soda, it's a self-service and they had Free Style, and my husband mixed with Diet Cherry Coke and Vanilla flavor.
The soda cup was huge and it had the current blockbuster, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I.

今日はAMCシアターズで「ペンギンズ オブ マダガスカル」を観てきた。
いつもAMCに行く時はメンバーズカードを使って割引や飲み物のサイズを無料で大きく
してもらっている。
今日買ったスナックは2度目となる「チキンテンダー&ポテト コンボ」というもので、
最後に食べたのは「ジョン・ウィック」を観に行った時だった。
* チキンテンダーはささみを細く切ってパン粉を付けて揚げたもの
1ヶ月も経たないうちにパッケージのデザインが変わっていた。
以前は商品のイメージ写真がなく赤と白の簡素な箱で、ソースを納める穴が付いて
いなかった ような気もする。
箱の上部にはチキンスライダー 、BBQソース、カーリーフライ、チキンテンダーの写真が
載っていた。
* カーリーフライはカールしたフライドポテト
その下には商品の美味しさを表す形容詞が沢山並んでいた。
写真が載っていた部分を持ち上げると、「自分にご褒美」と書いてあった。
ソースはランチ、ハニーマスタード、BBQの3種類があり、BBQソースを選んだ。
中には沢山のチキンテンダーとカーリーフライが入っていて、正確な数量は分からない
けれど、7個かそれ以上チキンが入っていたと思う。
チキンテンダーはそれぞれ10センチほどの長さがあり、ずっしりしていた。
衣には胡椒とパセリが入っているように見え、ピリッとした唐辛子のような風味があった
けれど、それが甘辛いBBQソースに入っていたものかどうかは不明。
サクサクした衣の中にはしっとりしたささみが入っていて美味しかった。
揚げているうちに2個のチキンテンダーが くっついてしまったものは、中までしっかり火が
通っておらず、ぐしゃっとした生焼けの衣があり食べられなかった。
カーリフライは外側はカリッとしていて、内側は柔らかかった。
衣には香りのよいスパイスが使われていた。
ソーダは容器を渡されて自分で入れるシステム。
今日の映画館にはフリースタイルという自由にフレーバーを選べる機械があったので、
旦那がダイエットチェリーコーラとバニラフレーバーを混ぜていた。
カップはLサイズでかなり大きく、現在のヒット作である「ハンガーゲーム」のモッキング
ジェイの写真が載っていた。
