Lunch Pack

I've found so many Yamazaki Lunch Pack.
Even had a Lunch Pack Quest in Yamazaki Plaza Ichikawa in Chiba prefecture.

Didn't find some items I wanted but it's neat to see "limited are only" collections.

Here are two of the lunch pack I found in the Yamazaki Plaza Ichikawa and also in a convenience store at Shinjuku station on the way back.


ランチパック

以前にも紹介した、ランチパック再び。
今回は市川駅目の前にある、「ヤマザキプラザ市川」へ。

ここには、日本全国のご当地限定商品が沢山。
欲しかったのは見つからなかったけれど、新しいのを２つ購入。
新宿駅に戻ったら、探していたのがあった。。。（苦笑）

Gyoda Jelly Fries/行田ゼリーフライ風
Jelly Fries sound so weird and disgusting. But this is just a name of a fried food which is made from potatoes, carrots, green onions and "okara" (bean curd refuse). They fry it without batter. They make it into a shape of oval gold coin and called it as "Zeni (means coin) Fry" but it became to be called "Jelly Fry" as the time goes by.

埼玉県行田市では皆のおやつとして食べられているらしく、原料はおから、人参、玉ねぎ。衣をつけずに揚げたもの。ほぼソース味（笑）
「銭フライ」が訛って「ゼリーフライ」と呼ぶようになったとか。

Root Vegetable Menchi-Katsu/根菜メンチカツ
("Katsu" means deep fried minced meat.)

Uses whole grain bread. Veggies are burdock, carrot and onion.
Tasted sorta healthy. :p

根菜（ごぼう、にんじん、たまねぎ）入りのメンチカツを、全粒粉入りのパンで挟んだもの。

Whipped Cream/ホイップクリーム

Found this at Shinjuku station on the way back from Ichikawa.
Uses milk from Nagato farm in Nagano prefecture.
Love this cow pattern package!
市川からの帰り、新宿駅で発見。
長野県長門牧場の牛乳を使用したホイップクリームを使用。
牛柄のパッケージがかわいい :)
