We stopped by at Insomnia Cookies after an event at American Museum of Natural History last night, and I picked up 2 cookies.
At Insomnia Cookies, they display cookies in a showcase with tags with names and calories on, and it's easy to see what to choose but seeing the calories didn't really stop me as I already knew getting one (or more) large cookies at night isn't a good idea for sure.

Deluxe Triple Chocolate Chunk Cookie

M&M's Cookie

One of the cookies I bought was a "Deluxe Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookie."

It's as large as the other ones I bought before and about 12cm (4.7 inch) in diameter.

I could see actual Peanut Butter Cup with the wavy edge in the dough.

The cookie was still warm when it's given and it's soft and fragile.

And as you can see, the napkin got oil stains very heavily and quickly.

The cookie was sweet, sugary and of course had Peanut Butter Cup flavor.

I think this cookie dough was sweet from the beginning but with Peanut Butter Cup, this whole cookie became much sweeter and saltier.
The surface and the bottom were crispy but the inside was moist and soft, and the peanut butter was melted and gooey.

Though seeing the grease and the calories (620kcal), I enjoyed this at that moment.

アメリカ自然史博物館のイベントの後、インソムニアクッキーズに立ち寄り、クッキーを
2個買った。
インソムニアクッキーズではショーケースに札付きのクッキーが並べられている。
各札にはクッキーの名前（種類）とカロリーが記載されているのだけれど、夜中に大きな
クッキーを買おうとしている時点で体に良くないと分かっているので、高カロリーの札を
見ても買うのをためらうことはなかった。

2種類のうち1つは「デラックス チョコレート ピーナッツバターカップ クッキー」で、
前回買ったものと同じくらい大きなクッキーだった。
クッキーの直径は12センチくらいだったと思う。
生地にピーナッツバターカップ（ピーナッツバターがチョコレートに包まれたお菓子）の
欠片が入っているのが見えた。

クッキーは温かい状態で渡されたので、柔らかくもろかった。
写真を見ると分かるように、ぎっとりとした油染みが素早く紙ナプキンに広がった。
クッキーは砂糖がたっぷりで甘く、ピーナッツバターカップの味ももちろんした。
生地は最初から甘く作られていたと思うけれど、ピーナッツバターカップを加えたことで
さらに甘く、塩気も加わったと思う。
表面と底の部分はサクサクで内側はしっとりして柔らかく、ピーナッツバターは溶けて
グニッとしていた。
油やカロリー（620kcal）を見た後でも、食べていた時は美味しいと思った。
